Digital First

Digital First is a card issuance product that allows users to create virtual cards in real time, providing immediate access to their funds digitally. Additionally, users can choose to order a physical card that will retain the same card number (PAN) as the virtual card. This approach ensures a seamless user experience and minimizes the need for changes when transitioning from a virtual to a physical card.

Functionality Flow

1 - Issuing the Digital First Card

The process begins with the creation of an instant virtual card. The virtual card is valid for online transactions, offering immediate access without the need to wait for a physical card delivery.

2 - Physical Card Issuance Request

Once the user has the virtual card, they can choose to request a physical card that will retain the same PAN. This allows the user to continue using the card seamlessly, even while waiting for the physical card delivery.

3 - Enabling the Physical Card for POS Terminals

To enhance security, the physical card will initially be disabled for use at POS terminals. Once the user receives their physical card, they must enable it for in-person transactions.
